Man dead after shooting near Eastlake Park in downtown Phoenix Nienke Onneweer, Arizona Republic A man died in a shooting near Eastlake Park in downtown Phoenix on Monday evening. Phoenix police responded to a call of a shooting near 15th Street and Jefferson Street, said a press release. Officers responded around 3:15 p.m. to a shooting near 70th Avenue and Indian School Road, according to Phoenix Police Department news release. Police arrived and found a man, later identified as Bush, with an apparent gunshot wound. Phoenix fire personnel pronounced the man dead on scene.
