Three Philadelphia restaurants, Her Place Supper Club, Korshak Bagels and Irwin's Upstairs, made Bon Appetit's 50 Best New Restaurants of 2022 list. The restaurants, all of which opened in recent years, have quickly become favorites among locals and visitors in Philadelphia.
"Whether we reopen is completely contingent on whether we receive RRF funding," said one restaurant owner.
Irwin's Upstairs has been named to Esquire's 2021 list of the "Best New Restaurants in America." The South Philly establishment was praised by the publication for its location on the 8th floor of the historic Bok building, its extensive rooftop views of the city and the restaurant's Sicilian menu consisting of seafood, handmade pasta dishes and natural wines.
