Vanguard News Senate moves against exorbitant shipping fees at Nigerian ports On By Henry Umoru THE Senate has begun investigation into the exorbitant increase and unjustifiable shipping fees charged by shipping companies on Nigeria bound cargoes. Consequently, the Senate yesterday asked the Danjuma Goje, All Progressives Congress, APC, Gombe Central led Senate Committee on Marine Transport to engage stakeholders in the shipping industry and the Nigeria Port Authority, NPA with a view to curbing the exorbitant increase in shipping fees in the country.
