Three witnesses had testified in the Capitol riot trial of Richard “Bigo” Barnett as of the end of the day Wednesday.

Emily Berret, who was director of operations for Pelosi’s office during the U.S. Capitol riot, was the first witness in Barnett’s trial in federal court in the District of Columbia.

Jury selection began Monday in the trial of a Gravette man charged in connection with the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021. The process will continue Tuesday morning.
