Forshaw Land & Property Group has submitted plans to Manchester City Council to build a 24-storey mixed-use residential development at Cornbrook.
It will be Scotland’s largest traditional hotel by some considerable margin.
Foxfield Developments has secured outline planning permission to build a mix of townhouses and apartments on the seven-acre industrial plot off Reedyford Road in Nelson.
Altogether, the applications comprise 821 homes, 1,762 student beds, 742,000 sq ft of offices, a hotel, school, and a Lidl.
Revised plans for the £240m project have been recommended for approval by Bolton Council’s planning officers.
