Dennis Benham HE was the gentleman founder of a successful Southampton engineering firm. Dennis Benham, who set up Benham Precision Engineering in 1978, has passed away following a short illness aged 88. After a lengthy spell working for electronic components manufacturer Mullard in Millbrook, Dennis saw the opportunity to go solo and established DAB Engineering at the age of 46. He opened a small workshop in Peveril Road in Woolston, laying the foundations for today’s successful business, which employs nearly 100 people.
