Indego will add 1,000 new bike docks, primarily in West Philly, in 2024. The city bike share program shared its latest expansion plans on Thursday, targeting Kingsessing, Mill Creek/Parkside, Wynnefield/Overbrook, Kensington/Richmond and the upper section of East Falls
The park will be one of eight along the Delaware River that could be connected with a continuous greenway trail.
The 76ers arena proposal appears to be on the track for legislative approval. Councilmember Mark Squilla, who represents the Center City neighborhoods where the arena would be built, indicated that an ordinance authorizing the project is being drafted. He plans to introduce it but say it needs "some community stakeholder support."
