“I think we still have ended up with a very coherent proposal,” Superintendent Kent Pekel said.
Riverside Community Schools Facilitator Lisa Becker clarified that regardless of what happens with the proposed changes, the building will remain a community school through next year.
With the wide-ranging scope of the plan, the district is hosting multiple information sessions that will be held Dec. 13, 14, 18 and 19.
In addition to the proposed closing of Riverside and Pinewood, Rochester Public Schools is proposing a reconfiguration of the Churchill-Hoover buildings.
