Robb Woulfe, the executive director of the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History, announced Tuesday he would be leaving the position after four years as his family will be relocating.
"The History Forum Awards Nights on Nov. 8 was an inspiring affair honoring people and projects, in partnership with the Museum of Art and History," writes columnist Ross Eric Gibson. "These joyful successes for local history tended to conceal the long, hard road it took to arrive at this point."
The Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History will be highlighting artists who made a lasting impact on comic books in its new exhibit "Werewolf Hunters, Jungle Queens, and Space Commandos: The Lost Worlds of Women Comic Artists," which opens Friday the 13th and runs through Jan. 21.
