The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory until 11 p.m. tomorrow for portions of south-central, southwest, and west-central Illinois. The jet stream is pushing into the upper Midwest keeping storms and cooler temperatures to our north. This will allow dangerous heat to build into our region. Today looks to be the hottest day of the week, with heat indices as warm as 112 degrees and high temperatures in the mid to upper 90s.
