In summer 1966, Marc Nathanson joined DU professor Robert Eckelberry on an adventure to Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands and more, as part of a course on Scandinavian government. To this day, he considers the Norwegian fjords the most beautiful place on Earth. Now he’ll have the opportunity to return to the country in a new capacity. Nathanson recently was nominated by President Joe Biden to serve as ambassador to Norway.
