12/21/20 A pair of West Liberty residents was among three people killed in a head-on collision near West Branch. According to the Iowa State Patrol, 20-year-old Eric Nunez of Plano, IL, was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 around 4:30 Monday morning near the West Branch exit. Nunez’s Nissan Altima collided head-on with a Dodge Grand Caravan being driven by 70-year-old Robert Larson of West Liberty.
