State campus. A popular student was killed by a suspected drunk driver. Chi lam was a Computer Engineering major. He was run over yesterday near campus and died today in the hospital. The crash happened here in front of his Fraternity House near the corner of 10th and san fernando streets. Nbc bay areas cheryl hurd joins us from the scene where theres a growing memorial. Cheryl.
