SIR – There are signs of resistance to Vladimir Putin in Russia itself – from the journalist Marina Ovsyannikova, who protested on primetime news and now faces prosecution (report, March 15), as well as from those who have demonstrated in the streets, despite Mr Putin’s clampdown.
SIR – We are standing on the sidelines watching Russia target civilians in Ukraine as its method for overrunning the country.
