PETALING JAYA: A PKR MP has criticised a home ministry raid on a bookshop in Kuala Lumpur last Friday, which saw ministry officials seizing two books.
PUTRAJAYA: Home minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail says it would be inaccurate to describe the home ministry’s action against the Toko Buku Rakyat bookstore last Friday as a “raid”.
Local author and educator Benz Ali expressed how the Home Ministry officials "stole" his books in the store and said that the books weren't even on the list of banned books in Malaysia.
