Over the past five years, Robyn Sweet became more concerned as her father became immersed in far-right conspiracy theories. Then she saw the picture of him in handcuffs inside the US Capitol building on 6 January.
Douglas Sweet declined to be interviewed by the BBC.
He is one of hundreds of pro-Trump protesters who stormed the US Capitol four months ago. We look at how many people have been arrested, and ask what punishment they might face.

As Virginia approached the peak of its COVID surge last January, Robyn Sweet was sick with the disease and caring for a patient who was dying from it.
Then she heard the news: her father had been arrested for invading the Capitol on Jan. 6.
“He felt that he was doing what the President asked him to,” Sweet, who works at a long-term care facility in the Virginia Tidewater region, told TPM.
Her father, a participant at the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, was arrested in the days after the Capitol riot on Jan. 6. Douglas Sweet was charged with violent conduct on Capitol grounds, impeding a government function, and criminal trespass. He and his attorney did not return requests for comment. ....

After Chris Ortiz posted a series of Instagram stories from inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, authorities say he got an Instagram message from a high school friend.
CHRIS WHAT ARE YOU DOING, the message said, according to court documents.
Ortiz responded, Participating in government!
WHY, the friend responded, GO TO A TOWN HALL MEETING MAN.  
The friend continued to message Ortiz, 27, telling him the Capitol rioters were domestic terrorists and questioning his political beliefs. Eventually, the friend turned their conversation over to the FBI. I love you Chris but I will never understand this, the friend said. ....
