A special meeting of the Greater Essex County District School Board was held Tuesday evening with only one item on the agenda: strike 'academy' from the previously chosen name 'Erie Migration Academy' and insert 'District School.'
Tracks at Belle River, Massey, Herman, and Kennedy high schools have degraded and are unsafe, school board trustees have learned.
The meeting also included a boisterous open mic session that made trustees wonder if they should change the rules.
