The announcement that The Hoxton is arriving in Dublin in 2024 is a boost to a city with a polarised hotel offer and strong visitor demand.

At the beginning of September, the Ruby Group officially entered the Dutch market. The newest design hotel of the Munich-based company, around founder and CEO Michael Struck, has opened in Amsterdam. The 291 rooms are spread across 18 floors with a total area of 24,230 sqm2. For the first time, Ruby integrates its 'Workspaces' into the hotel under the same roof, across three floors and with 138 workstations. In addition, Ruby Emma is Ruby's first re-flagging project. As of 1st October, Ruby Group is introducing a new 35-hour workweek across the company for all employees, including at its hotels, workspaces, and across its reservation’s teams, with no change in salary. All employees of the group will also receive a share of the company’s profits from 2023.
