The Drinks Business 21 January 2021 By Rupert Millar AJ Domaines has announced the sale of Margaux estate Château du Tertre with the Helfrich family, founders of Les Grands Chais de France, set to take over winemaking operations at the estate. The property is believed to have been acquired by a French insurance group. Financial details of the sale were not disclosed, du Tertre was previously owned by the Jelgersma family which also owns Château Giscours also in Margaux and Caiarossa in Italy.
