I think we can all agree that our sanitation workers are under appreciated- they have a physically demanding, and extremely necessary job. But these 4 took it to the next level.
So mom Ruth Watson was cleaning up around the house, and temporarily put her wedding ring and her wallet in a bag with other items. Her 10-year-old son mistook that bag for garbage, and brought it out to the curb.
By the time mom realized it, the truck was long gone.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Four Atlantic County Utilities Authority employees have helped a New Jersey woman find her wedding ring after it was accidentally thrown away.
Ruth Watson’s 10-year-old son thought he was being helpful when he threw a plastic bag out with the trash last Friday, NJ Advance Media reported. However, inside that bag was Watson’s wedding ring, wallet, and some other items.
“I can’t tell you how I felt,” Watson said. “I had so much to do that day and I couldn’t do a thing. I just kept thinking I’ve got to get that ring back.”

But what he didn’t know was that his mother’s wedding ring was inside.
“It was just a shopping bag from Dollar General and I had set it aside while we were cleaning. But my wallet and ring were inside that bag,” Watson, 41, said Tuesday.
By the time Watson ran outside, the garbage men had come and gone. Also gone was Watson’s wedding ring.
