Christopher Sprague, 46, of Marion was placed on community control in 2018 after he pleaded guilty to felony non-support of a child. Sprague appeared for a scheduled probation visit on Monday when he tested positive for methamphetamines. Sprague was taken into custody and held until his appearance Tuesday via video in the Crawford County Common Pleas Court. The Marion Police Department, after Sprague was taken into custody did a routine check of Sprague’s phone. ....
Crawford County Now BUCYRUS A former Bucyrus man appeared in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday to seek judicial release from the Crawford County Jail. Robert A. Skaggs, 45, of Garrison, Kentucky appeared before Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold Monday. In July, Skaggs pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree punishable with up to 12 months in prison. Skaggs was placed on five years of community control. In October, Skaggs failed a routine drug screen when he tested positive meth. Instead of sending Skaggs to prison, Judge Leuthold opted to put him in jail for the remainder of his sentence with 143 days of jail time credit. ....
