The Marquette City Fire Department was dispatched to 326 Summit St. around 6:46 p.m. due to reports of a structure fire at the address. Upon arrival at 6:51 p.m., firefighters encountered fire and smoke coming from a detached garage. Gretchen Whitmer and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services officials announced Friday that the state is expanding its vaccination eligibility for residents age 16 and up with disabilities or medical conditions beginning on March 22.
