M&AEquityBrazil Brazilian private education company Cogna Educação has confirmed that it is in talks with local rival Eleva Educação to buy and sell certain assets.
Cogna could sell schools owned by its subsidiary Saber Educação to Eleva, while Eleva could buy teaching material assets from Cogna. Eleva could also sell a learning system to Somos Educação, another Cogna subsidiary, Belo Horizonte-based Cogna said in a securities filing on Thursday.
