Detroit Lakes students design multiple sailboats for public art project When the 150 Sails Up in DL public art project was unveiled for the first time this past Friday, April 30, more than a half-dozen of them were revealed to have been created by past and present students of Detroit Lakes Public Schools. Six of the sailboat sculptures will be installed at the school district s four academic buildings, administration building and Lincoln Education Center, while another is going to the DLHS football field, Mollberg Field.
