We recognize that their millennia of stewardship and their continued presence in contributions to our island and community. I thank you all for coming today. We are all here, obviously, because of rigid ship. The long hot summer and early fall of 1692. As a history professor, i am inetimes reticent to indulge anniversary history because i like my students to think that every single day is historic. To take as feel right moment, take it day and really think about what happened. That is what we are doing today. That is with the city of salem is going to be doing all summer long.
