Bradford Co DA Chad Salsman won t step down amid charges

TOWANDA, PA (WBNG) Bradford County District Attorney Chad Salsman was charged in February with 24 charges, including 10 felonies. Today in a phone call with 12 News, his lawyer, Samuel Stretton, said that Salsman won t step down from his post as district attorney, maintaining his client s innocence. He added that he advised Salsman to step back from legal proceedings in his district attorney capacity and move into an administrative role while the case continues. On Friday, Stretton filed three motions to dismiss the case, including one citing improper conduct of the attorney general.
