At least 30 Kentucky prison guards had inappropriate relations with inmates over just 16 months -- with one female staffer becoming pregnant by a prisoner — while 14 others smuggled drugs in, the Herald-Leader reported.

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky received a $4 million federal grant to help people who are incarcerated find and maintain jobs. To do that, the nonprofit is partnering with half of the state’s 14 adult prisons.
