With temperatures dipping subzero this week and the Springfield area lumped into a 14-state energy market that imposed controlled rolling blackouts on Monday and Tuesday, reports of pipe fracture problems started pouring in from a wide variety of homes and businesses in southwest Missouri.
The Aspen apartment building on St. Louis Street went mini-viral early in the week after a Missouri State fan account on Instagram, @barstoolmostate, posted video of water gushing down a stairwell in the wee hours on Tuesday. ....
