Texas makes alcohol to-go permanent
Texas, we're one signature away from having to-go booze be a permanent thing. On April 28, the Texas Senate passed a bipartisan bill that will allow restaurants to sell alcohol along with pickup and delivery orders. The bill would make permanent an executive order signed last year by Gov. Greg Abbott as a way to bolster the hospitality industry and become arguably the only good thing to come out of the pandemic.
