Re “Lithium in Salton Sea enough for 375M EVs” (Nov. 30): Lithium harvested from Salton Sea will supply raw material for batteries to all EVs in the U.S.? In order to get this one-time “bonanza” we need large amounts of water from the Colorado that would ordinarily be sent to SoCal for residents’ consumption. The other states that feed off the Colorado won’t agree to our raising our portion.
