Last Updated: May 27, 2021 | 5:03 PM Premier Doug Ford is asking Ontario health unit and education officials for their input on reopening schools. In the letter, he acknowledges the negative mental health effects on students that learning from home imposes. He says he expects modeling this week that puts the range of COVID-19 cases associated with reopening schools to between 2,000 and 4,000 cases by the end of July and that this is concerning with variant(s) still on the rise.
