Oklahoma is the unanimous No. 1 team in the 2023 USA Today/NFCA Division I Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll. Receiving all 32 first-place votes, the Sooners enter this year No. 1 for the 30th consecutive poll.
Back-to-back national champion Oklahoma went wire-to-wire as the No. 1 team in 2022 USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Sooners (59-3), who were the unanimous No. 1 in all but one poll this season, have been atop the rankings for 29 consecutive weeks.
SDSU put together a tremendous 2022 softball season but unfortunately that run came to an end on Sunday.
