HOUSTON A Houston law firm which settled a case without their clients knowledge or consent and which failed to pay the whole settlement amount to their clients is facing a suit. Rosa Maria Pacheco and Juan Pacheco filed a complaint April 5 in Harris County District Court against The Guidry Law Firm alleging breach of contract. According to their suit, the plaintiffs hired the defendants in March of 2013 to handle the wrongful death case they filed after their daughter Amy was killed by a drunk driver. Also according to the Pacheco s complaint, the defendants and two other attorneys who were representing two other severely injured parties agreed to split the insurance policy limits of $1 million with each of the three claimants receiving one-third or $333,333. ....
