We had another comfortable afternoon today with high temperatures from 85-88°, light variable winds, and a heat index that ran from mild to fairly hot (Heat Index - Felt Like 70-88°). Isolated showers south of the Metro from Marrero eastward to Terrytown and spread south to Timberlane. Rain rates were only .06 -.20" inches per hour. Up on the Northshore, isolated light showers developed along the I-12 from Ponchatoula and Hammond eastward to Folsom, Bush, and into Mississippi toward Picayune, Kiln and south to Gulfport.
