Fort Myers Police Department confirmed Tuesday Officer Jason Jackson will return to duty full-time, following the conclusion of an investigation by The U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Middle District of Florida. There were no charges brought against Jackson or the three other officers who were investigated. According to an FMPD press release, the police department officially confirmed Officer Jackson is no longer under criminal investigation by the federal government.
