Wichita City Council flouts Kansas attorney general, amends proposed ordinance to be more liberal than state law.
The ordinance changes will apply for this year’s primary elections, including the election period, which the city has defined as 45 days before an election and two days after.
The ordinance is content-neutral, meaning the same rules apply to non-political signs.
