Apparently they made it. Another stumble for the beleaguered jail system. Believe it or not, inmates are known for making their own alcohol from prune juice. We have to remember that jails are inherently dangerous places. And things got out of hand when the deputies smelled alcohol in a protective custody jail cell. They escorted one of the inmates. One was complaining. The other inmate struck, kicked actually the deputy in the face. The deputy got his hands and knees hurt. A third suffered violent injuries.
