Beach cleans at 21 locations have been organised over the May 22/23 weekend, for what will be the 31st beach clean organised by Litter Free Coast and Sea. Sandbanks Ferry currently suspended with no recommencement time

The ferry, connecting Sandbanks and Shell Bay, confirmed its suspension on Twitter. It said: “The Sandbanks Ferry service is currently suspended. We will update as soon as we have a recommencement time. We apologise for any inconvenience.” As of 6.59pm, the ferry service remains suspended. A mechanical issue has been identified and an update will be issued at 8pm this evening. The latest update, posted at 7.47pm on Twitter, states that the ferry service remains suspended. The next update will be posted at 9pm on the ferry's Twitter page.
