Kay Gabriel is a poet and essayist based in New York City. She is the author of A Queen in Bucks County, out this month from Nightboat Books, and Kissing Other People or the House of Fame (Rosa Press, 2021; Nightboat Books, 2023). With Andrea Abi-Karam, Gabriel coedited We Want It All: An Anthology of Radical Trans Poetics (Nightboat Books, 2020). She is part of the editorial collective for the Poetry Project Newsletter and teaches at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University.

Published in November 2020, New Queer Photography: focus on the Margins, a new photography book from Berkeley-based Ginko Press shares the work of dozens of photographers, each carving out a vibrant niche in portraiture of LGBTQ lives.
