Curve magazine founder Frances "Franco" Stevens celebrated the popular lesbian magazine's 30th anniversary with three big announcements last week. She bought back the publication, established a foundation to oversee it, and is releasing a documentary. In 2010, lesbian publisher Stevens sold the magazine she conceived and grew for two decades to fellow lesbian publisher Silke Bader of Avalon Media in Sydney, Australia.
