AMQUI, Que. — A Quebec man accused of deliberately driving his truck into pedestrians was arraigned Wednesday on three counts of first-degree murder.
Formal charges of first-degree murder have been laid against the Quebec man accused of ramming a truck into 11 pedestrians last month in Amqui. Steeve Gagnon, 38, appeared Wednesday morning to face the charges.
Steeve Gagnon was also arraigned on nine counts of attempted murder in connection with the alleged attack that left three dead and several seriously injured in Amqui.
