Your article identifies some of the problems with the UK’s attitude towards Eurovision, but then compounds them by calling it “the silliest singing competition in the world” (Nul points again: how exactly can the UK win Eurovision?, 23 May). Disregarding the imperative to take it more seriously if we want to do well, as a singing teacher I can assure you that I have been to many sillier singing competitions than this. ....
