(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota has been selected for a program that will boost resources for immigrants in the community. The state was invited by World Education Services to join a group with the Skilled Immigrant Integration Program. The program supports and provides expertise that can benefit immigrants which the Department of Commerce says can only benefit the state.

As part of the 2023-2024 SIIP program, North Dakota has been selected to join the program's sixth cohort -- meaning that it will join a group of communities and states that are focused on improving refugee and immigrant workforce inclusion.
