The worlds first personalised vaccine for melanoma the deadliest form of skin cancer has begun being tested in britain. Some other countries, including australia, are also trying it on patients. The treatment, which uses the same mrna technology as some covid jabs, works by telling the body to hunt down cancer cells and prevent them from coming back. Kevin mccarthy failed to convince enough members of his party to back a stop gap measure that would fund federal agencies for another month while Congress Worked on long term spending plans. This means at midnight eastern time on sunday, the Us Government will run out of money to fund itself unless congress can agree a last minute deal. Lawmakers are set to return saturday at noon for another vote. The republicans, who hold a slim majority in the house of representatives, are at a deadlock with members on the right of the party demanding wide ranging Spending Cuts.
