Chloe Kim makes history with first 1260 in women's halfpipe at X Games
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim made history at the X Games Aspen Friday by becoming the first woman to land a 1260 in a snowboard halfpipe competition. How she did it: Kim, 23, executed the cab 1260 — three and a half full rotations — in her third and final run, securing victory despite a slight landing flaw. This marked her seventh X Games SuperPipe gold medal, tying her with mentor Kelly Clark's record.
