Tonight, we saw that fog push in as we started to see that ramp up and head of the cold front that weve got that storm system thats now bearing down on the bay area. Some clouds already beginning to move in across the bay area. And much of Northern California starting to see a couple raindrops moving in as well. See that right there. Some showers already beginning to move in the far Northern California. You can see where that storm is coming from, right from the gulf of alaska. That means this is going to be a cold system dropping in the bay area, unusually cold for this time of year. And of course, this week weve been basking in temperatures in the 70s and the 80s. Its been beautiful all around the bay area tomorrow. Were going to be lucky to get out the 50s and a good part of the bay area, too. All right. Heres the latest on the forecast model. Just in time for the weekend, 2 guys and looks like this. Not just going to be a a storm. We may see may be twice as much normal rainfall in just one day from the storm thats rolling in. So its got some punch to it as is headed toward the bay area right now started to cloud up outside that marine layer deepening ahead of that front as its moving in looking outside right now. Quite hour in some fog out there right now. But it wont be long. The winds starting to change just a bit. That onshore breeze is blowing after what was another nice day outside . And we now know that that person who was trapped in a collapsed trench in San Franciscos lower haight neighborhood has died. This incident was reported at the work site around 10, 30 this morning right near the intersection of turk boulevard and divisadero. Well go now to kron 4 Charles Clifford live at the scene. Hes been there all morning. Charles, whats the latest now . Well, this is still a very active scene. The Fire Department arrived here about 10 oclock this morning. As you mentioned, they spent several hours trying to reach and a rescue him. Unfortunately, it didnt work according to the San Francisco Fire Department, a man working on a sewer line here near the corner of oak and to visit daraa was trapped beneath 8 to 10 feet of dirt and concrete when the trench around him collapsed upon arrival, fire crews immediately launched an effort to dig down and rescue him. It took over 2 hours in ov
