Historians have identified the remains of an Army private from eastern New Mexico who died during World War II.
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced the U.S Army Cpl. Alton Christie, 18, of Jasper Florida, died in the Korean War and his remains were accounted for in 2022. On Tuesday, Christie's remains arrived in Jacksonville.
Master Sgt. Juan Paulo Ferrer Bordador, 42, was found unresponsive inside his vehicle in the North Parking lot on March 14.
