Out & About: Mount Tom Farmers’ Market back, moves to South Pomfret Modified: 5/19/2021 11:01:35 PM SOUTH POMFRET After a year’s hiatus, the Mount Tom Farmers’ Market is back at a new location. The first market of the year is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the parking lot at Suicide Six in South Pomfret. It will run every Saturday, rain or shine, through Oct. 16. Previously, the market was held at the Mount Tom parking lot in Woodstock, but the rental cost became too high, said Neil Lamson, who manages the market. Last year, the market did not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Woodstock Inn & Resort offered use of the South Pomfret-based Suicide Six parking lot for free. ....
