First-timers at the show Justin Gregory of Nashville took his family to the Great Tennessee Air Show for the first time this year. But he's a lifelong fan of any kind of aircraft. "I've always loved airplanes, especially fighter type aircraft. A lot of my friends are fighter pilots in the Air Force, so it's just fun to get to see them," said Gregory, an Air Force veteran. Gregory said he spent his childhood going to the airport to watch planes with his father. He's hoping his own children have a "similar appreciation for airplanes" by bringing them to the air show.
