NASA just released its annual global temperature report and, well, 2023 was the hottest year since measurements began in 1880. Additionally, the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reported that 2024 could be even hotter.
NASA and NOAA announced that 2023 was the hottest year Earth has experienced, causing severe human and economic impacts worldwide.

"2023 is now confirmed as the warmest year on average over the globe in 174 years of observation," a climate scientist said.
